Geocell Ground Grid is a three-dimensional cellular confinement system used to improve weak soil performance under static and dynamic loads. It works by restricting lateral movement of infill materials such as gravel, sand, or crushed stone, forming a mechanically stabilized layer for roads, parking areas, slopes, and soft ground foundations.


What is Geocell Ground Grid?
Geocell Ground Grid is a modular soil confinement structure formed by ultrasonic welding of polymer strips into a honeycomb network. Once expanded on site and filled with granular material, it creates a semi-rigid composite layer that significantly improves bearing capacity and reduces surface deformation.
Unlike conventional gravel layers that shift under load, the confined structure distributes stress horizontally across cells, limiting settlement and improving long-term surface stability in both dry and saturated soil conditions.
